Was due an upgrade at the end of the month, but my 3g packed up yesterday.
I paid £60 to end the contract. Meaning the 3 months early upgrade do not get added to the contract, so in theroy its saved me about 40 quid.
Got the 16gb in black, 99.99 and £31 a month.
Just got a text to say its being delivered tomorrow....and no one is going to be in!! BASTS!!!!
Who's that with? Did you get any discounts on it?

How did you go about finishing the contract early? And how do they work out the cost. Is it just how ever many monthly payments you have left?
Wouldn't mind moving to Vodafone but think it might cost me a lot. Plus think the phone is more expensive on voda.

I just called orange, said my contract ends last day of this month, i have no more bills to pay before then, can i upgrade early as my phone has broken.
Got told no, but this week they started offering a reduced rate to end it early. its cost me £20 a month for 3 months to end it. Rather than the £35 i was paying.

Sounds exactly the same as my contract money wise. Phone upgrade is due end of this month but contract is for another 3 months. Will have to have a think.

Worth paying that £60 for me, as the extra 3 months would be nearly 100 on the new contract.

I'm the exact same contract by the sound of it so I would be looking at the same cost and saving. Just looked and the phone is £20 cheaper on Vodafone. Decisions :S

The hassle of moving numbers etc isnt worth the £20 saving imo.
Thats if your happy with orange

Is it a ballache? Its not for the cost saving on the phone, thats just a bonus. The signal is better Vodafone where I work at weekends. not critical but be nice to have signal in the sticks if its not going to be a load of hassle to do it

I think its a case of getting a code from old provider, and giving it to the new one. Then takes a few days from what i rememeber.
Im also guessing they may not let you end it early if your leaving :/

Yeah this is something I have to check. Talking to a vodafone advisor on chat at the moment and he is trying to get me to go ahead with it now even though I've told him I dont know about ending my orange contract yet

Nope, will only deliver to home address.
As its in the missus name, ive gotta take her passport, proof of address and proof of missed delivery, for her, and then passport and proof of address for me !
Alot of pissing about, but better than waiting all week

I went all the way to a tescos store earlier that actually had stock (40 mile round trip) and my card was declined because I changed the address on it on Saturday and it takes 7 days to go through properly FFS!!!
Rage.

You can sync purchased (via iTunes Store on the iPhone) music by clicking on "Sync Back", otherwise you need a 3rd-party program like SharePod (http://www.getsharepod.com/) which allows you to backup content (and then import iTunes library) from your iPhone.
Could also copy your old iTunes library to your new system.
