Pretty good I thought
Sounds worth it tbh. Most deals I've looked at don't include hardly any minutes or txts.

That's a good deal. The phone is £100 cheaper than the other networks for a similar contract. It is a 4S and not just a 4 isn't it?

Turned the LED notifications on earlier, it's really good as I've got a cheap clear hard plastic case and even when the phones face up the whole phone lights up through the case.

I double checked that one as it almost sounded too good to be true
Basically T-mobile are offering the 32gb at a 16gb price to previous customers as they have no 16gb's left and no due date on new stock. So it was a 'there at the right time' kinda deal. I could have got a similar deal with 3 with more minutes and the phone was £25 cheaper as an upfront payment, but I wanted to stay with T-mobile as I have 2 contracts running with them and it's just easier.
But I am happy with the deal I've asked a couple of people if they thought it was good and they said it was. Happy I'm now saving £20 a month too as I don't have a contract with more stuff on it than I actually need.

Is the camera flash an LED? Cos if it is & its being used as notification then that's LED notification.

You know what I meant, usually LED notification is a flashing light on the front the phone itself, not a bodged up solution meaning you need the phone face down

yes the flash is the led notification
and im pretty sure it flashes different colours for different alerts
only stupid thing is most people phones sit face up so you wont see it flash anyway but when someone rings you it goes fucking mental with a white flashing light

Here you go then James - It's actually in Settings / General / Accessibility / LED Flash for Alerts.

Yes I knew what you meant, it would be better with a dedicated LED on the front

Put it in a clear case, then the whole phone lights up.

They've finally got Siri fully working on iPhone 4, connecting to apple servers etc, works just as fast as 4S too

Ask your desire what the square root of 55 is? Or to remind you to call you mum when you leave your house?

Siri isn't that good. Siri just lets you use voice to use the reminders app of the phone which includes that feature.

When Apple release the API the possibilities will be endless.
"search auto trader for Astra's under £5000"
"search YouTube for kanye west and start AirPlay to my TV"
"pay my eBay fees using paypal"
"direct me to the nearest petrol station using tomtom"
Etc.

Yup but it involves copying files from a 4S which the developer has said he will not be involved in.
A lot of the jailbreak community will want to stay at arms length from this. Currently they work on exploits in the code i.e. they don't break copyright they just find back doors in (and thus one of the big reasons Apple don't both trying to stop them) As soon as someone starts serving copyrighted 4S files Apple will be coming down on them like a ton of bricks.

They won't distribute the files but will be revealing how it's done once they're confident it's stable and doesn't affect anything else, which means 'someone' will.
The bit that won't work is that as far as I can tell it needs a 'token' from a live 4S doner to access the servers.
