I think itll be better at the bottom. At least you wont have a wire getting in the way as much.

Apple always wanted it at the bottom but we're unable to do it until recently aparently. Makes much more sense.

I got a little holder for the car and use the headphones, holder is blocked off at the bottom, so would have to put it upside down, won't display whos calling the wrong way round, so can see why people would get annoyed, stuff like that.

Does make more sense, also means any who has equipment that needs that socket at the top like Whittie has to buy more Apple branded stuff so they make even more money from it

I have a folder called home with Stocks, Newstand, Compass, Contacts, Voice Memos, Game Center, iTunes and the standard weather app, all of which I never use.

There's a trick to get News Stand into a folder, it crashes your phone if you try to open it once it's in a folder though. Have a search.
