Not quite right - it was started as a idea from some O2 staff as a project. The company is wholley owned by o2 and has staff of around 15-20 people.
Few people I know at work have used it but all left within 3 months due to various issues with them

There are plenty of sim only options on Orange and Voda that would work out cheaper than a contract after you bought the phone outright with only a 1 month tie in, plus cashback usually.
Either way there are cheaper options than paying over £950 for a phone and being tied in for two years.

4 inch screen will make it a big phone, only way I'll let them away with that is if it's 720p.

All this releasing cases and Parts is just clever marketing by apple. Been getting updates from iClarified regarding the cases. Fanbois are lapping it up!

If it's got a 4" screen they'll have to change the whole case, it would be massive and heavy.

If it's the same form factor as the 4 I'll buy it. If it's big I'll pick up a 4

I get your point, all that glass weighs a lot though, they'd have to go to plastic or something lighter.

TOtally irrelevent to the subject but fitted a 32" Samsung LED yesturday and it weighs nothing! My 42" LG with Glass panel weighs a fooking ton!

i honestly think the shape has changed,
i think the screen wil be bigger, but not 250dpi, and the form factor will follow the ipad 2 sort of style, with a curved smooth back panel and a front "glass" piece

If it turns out like all the mockups the back will be alu same as the iPad 2 which will make it much lighter, plus it wont have the midframe.
I seriously hope its a mini iPad 2 with 4" screen. People will be literally falling over themselves to get one.
