Oh, and I say they haven't been in there on purpose but when I was cleaning the filters and the lab was up on that wall, I called him over to see if he would walk across the top of the pillars for the stepping stones, and he did it but not 100% successfully and ended up half falling in the pond

Oh, in fact we've 99% finished the paving as there are 2 of the dark grey strips missing at the moment as we ran out

Finish doesn't look great and the window is not central.
Good effort though.

To be fair the garden does look a mess but would imagine it will look great when tidied up. How are you hiding the filter gear?

Stupid facebook changing the links to all of the hosted pictures, sorry guys! Anyway, for the purpose of anyone that remembers this build, here is the most recent pics. We've sorted out all of the grass, replaced the back fence, decked the area to the right of the pond and used the old decking to temporarily hide the filters but our next job is to replace all that with new decking and put in some steps up to the top bit. We've also extended the paving edge along the decking and the bottom of the patio, put in colour changing LED lights (wifi controlled using a smart phone) in the pond, the waterfall and along the edge of the patio. Getting there eventually :-)

That's so cool, I've always thought about putting a pond out the back, but that's on a different level! Fair play.
