Soon i am taking my car into the body shop for several modifications. For people who do or know about the price of body work what sort of price would you charge for the following:
Change colour of car (non flip!)
Full kingdom kit fitted
Cossie arches built and fitted
Flush boot
Fiat punto light conversion (new square ones)
Bonnet vent
Flush door handles and locks
opinions appreciated :

Spoke to austinpxx and he said he paid £2300 for all the work to be done on his including the respray in rage ecstasy.
The quote i got was £3k. The work of this garage i know is very good cos my mate got his nove done there. (Was at max power, yellow with 19s).
So i guess £3k isnt a bad price at all then?

to be honest i can see it cracking no matter how well its done, filler shrinks over time and that kit would need tons of it.

I know the cossie arch and punto light conversion has been done before but it is just thinking of something different. I have got a full kingdom kit so something BIG which fits with that would be good

its not the man doing the jobs fault that isopon cracks etc. its the fault of the materials. the same way paint blends will show through in a few months time, if u look carefully. fault of the materials. so many people blame the person doing the work when its not there fault. theres only so much u can do to try and prevent it
