spilled coke on the keyboard of my lap top last nite at work and the keyboard wudnt work, then the mouse stopped workin and i need to get it fixed
where can i get it fixed and is it gonna be proper fucked?

probably won't help, but have u tried taking the keyboard out and maybe cleaning the connections etc ?

small screws along the top (near were it folds) might not be screws but that bit comes off first

May have a keyboard release screw underneath on very bottom, then possibly some other catches to flick across , and it might pop out ...
That's how it is on the Compaq armadas anyway.
Might say in ur instruction book how to replace keyboard.

just looked at my acer.... errr doesn't look like the usual way of taking it out unless u pry it out, which I ain't gonna try
if the top front half of the lappy cover is removeable, then chances are once you remove that, then the kb is easily removed.

i think there is two screws at the back which hold the hinge's on if you remove these then the screen section should come apart exposing some screws to relese the keyboard and keyboard cover, the front of the keyboard cover may just be clips try and use a spliter of some sort (thin pliece of plastic betweeen the upper and lower casing. hope this helps

if its under PC world insurance then youl have a number to ring , and just tell them what happened !
do not try and open the laptop , itl void the warrenty
