I have a combat one front bumper and want to fill up the spot light holes. I have some p38 filler is that ok to do it with or will i need fibreglass aswell?

Also i want to smooth the numberplate recess, what steps shall i follow to do both of these?

use fiberglass aswell, be stronger

how shall i do the hole then? was thinkin of sticking some mesh on the inside of hole to bind it all together?

yes put mesh in there then fiberglass
then filler sand it down paint it

Ok cheers. What about the number plate recess? Just scratch it to hold the fibreglass? Then filler over the fibre glass?

my reg recess
the bodyshop cut out the old one and fibreglassed over it
so its same thickness as rest of the bumper
then i got 5 holes cut along it

fibre glass deffo mate. Try use as less filler as poss. It will make life easier
