Just to let you all know, I was in the vts behind evzyboy and my speedo was showing an indicated 110 when following him so he must have been doing about this speed. Its quite nippy for a 1.0L

. He'll try and get a photo to prove he's no bullsh*tter

so ures will be out too, so more like 100 mph.

duffy corsa dont lie, i have a tuned 1.5 td and it wont go to 120 mph. and thats with no kit and standard size wheels. the gearing wont allow it, and 17's kill it totally.

1.2 16v and 1.4 16v engines with F13 gearbox's on the standard 6620rpm can not do over 117mph even if ur speedo tells u ur doing 120+.

So if ur at 6500rpm, and ur speedo reads 126mph (like mine did), ur actually doing morelike 110-115mph.

Same as the 1.2 owners who say they are doing 115mph, your not, your probably doing morelike 100-105mph.

i used to drive for avis car rental and iv'e had brand new 1.0 corsa c's flat out on the motorway and not one of them read over 100mph no where near.

thats all bollox. i got a 1.0l 12v merit, 3 dr, 3 cylinder and with me and 2 of my mates we got 99maybe just 100. that was struggling big time! now i got 16" it does around £95 and thats with a k&n.

any way even if he does get a pic how can we tell its his 1.0 corsa, all you will see is the dash and speedo. mind you the 1.0 has only got a speedo and no rev counter. does any one know if its possible to add a rev counter to it????????
