...lower 40-60mm on standard gsi alloys, full grp A zorst with viper kit and mantzel powerbox inlet manifold???

its a 1.6 16V Gsi

just wanna know what type of cars i could beat or keep up with??
heard on here someone who kept up with a mr2 with similar mods but with 17" too

get that chipped proffesionally too and you could see 130bhp-135bhp. You got C16XE or X16XE?

its a C16XE,
i thought i wud get at least 140bhp if it was chipped too

as far as i can remember the guy said it was a head to head race upto about 120mph after which the mr2 must of had higher top speed so overtook, think he said it was about a 170BHP mr2, which is much more than any corsa tuned with the mods ive mentioned!

you will be seeing 7seconds 0-60 with those mods. I can do it in 8.7 seconds with just drilled airbox

170bhp MR2 with a lot more weight. Strip your corsa down to around 850kg's.

If he can do 0-60 in 7 seconds with that why was my 6.2 put down to trax's crap timing gear?

at 120mph, aerodynamics come into it hence why the mr2 will pull away

4 things incl engine management. Book figures for the GSi are around 8.5 seconds anyway, not 9.5.

yes mate, two variants of the 1.6 16v engine. those are the vauxhall codes given to each of their engines. If you would like, i can spend an hour explaining what the numbers and letters mean.
