I've just fitted a new backbox, and used gum gum exhaust sealer stuff to seal it? Now theres a strange smell coming from the exhaust, is it normal for this stuff to smell while initially drying/hardening up? or wud it be the new backbox first heating up.
Roughly how long shud this smell last? If theres no way it cud be this wot else cud it be?

i had the same problem with my remus one,i think its the smell of paint on the backbox or just cos its new, just like the new car smell lol, leave it for a couple of days hard burning  then see if u notice it any more

is it an eggy smell, if so could be the cat.
probably not tho, just wait for a little

My sebring smelt of paint when i first got it, smell went after abuot 500 miles, but i still get a smell from it now after about 8k after i polish it
