Only had my Corsa for 6 weeks, and noticed that it didnt heat up on the temp gauge. Fitted a new thermostat, and not it heats up to the 90 mark. Is this as hot as it gets? Its a 1.4 8v btw

while moving 90 is fine, you may find it goes higher if stood in traffic

mine noramlly doesnt even reach 90, always sat as low as it can go but in traffic goes to about half way or so but once i start moving again back down to nothing

Sounds OK to me, it's just the way they are. On the Corsa B, temp only normally gets up to around a quarter of the way round the dial but it will run hotter when sat in traffic as already said. On my Corsa C the dial is re-calibrated with 80C in the middle and the needle sits close to this when warmed up.

yeh mine has only reached max temp whilst i were in stand still taffic in the mid summer other than that it never reaches 90 jus sits low.

I have got a 1.4 16v its running temp is 90 it only ever goes up when i am sat in traffic
