Mates got a corsa deisel, putting a new sump in as his is cracked does he need to take the manifold off when he does this?

You do on a 1.4 16v. Dont know for sure on the deisel, guess its the same.

undo the downpipe from the manifold, there 2 bolts underneith

if it dont come off with it on there then he would probably have to take it off

corsa^dan is correct. take the exhaust downpipe off.

Yerh sorry thats wot i ment, down pipe bit. On mine (1.4 16v) Its 4 bolts on Eng side then 2 spring bolts at other end.
