My drilled air-box with a K&N filter is louder and more responsive than my Piper X induction kit was. Also £40 cheaper.

where do u get your reasoning behind this?

how can you keep pressure in a box that is not completly air tight

for it to keep constant pressure, there would need to be a valve at the front of the box that only allowed air into, but not out off the box - and i have yet to see any car in my lifetime that has this

a viper is gonna make shag all performance difference to a 1.2 8v and it will sound quieter than any other induction kit

its a sealed unit, and sux air thru a pipe, thats why

u wouldnt even notice it on a 1.2 8v
