Can you get the type S in 2ohms? Ive found the cheapest Alpine dealer to be Car Electronics LTD ( http://www.cel-direct.co.uk )

No alpine type S comes in that spec. That spec you have is for a type R.

i have no idea about names mo, but as you come from town u see mcdonalds and KFC on ur left at some traffic lights. go straight down that main road and on ur right there is loads of shops and its one of them. think its a council estate opposite. its a pretty wide road if thats any help

as tomas said c-e-l are very good - one of their shops is in derby - so I go there quite a bit - and have spent about a grand - with about that to spend again - but they have loads of time for u to sit down and talk u through things step by step - even if ur not buying nething there and then
and theyre cheap for alpine-I have that sub at teh min - hopefully upgrading b4 donny show - and it was at leats £30 cheaper there than newhere else - once i pushed them to knock the price down
