They charge £5 i think for postage. Even though its only in a jiffy bag with £1.50 or so worth of stamps. They add a mark up on the postage.

Postage to Northern Ireland is std UK tarrif with UPS, £7.95 for std items, £9.95 for larger items or lights/etc.
Postage to Republic of Ireland (Zone 2) is horrendous - £30 for 1kg and under and it goes up the heavier the parcel.
Std delivery on a panel filter is a fiver.

There's no jiffy bag or stamps for a panel filter
Pure profit??
Nah we have a Royal Mail collection service and postal items are sent first-class recorded. Add to that the cost of employing warehouse slaves to pick and pack the goods and you're getting a bargain.
You could always collect it from the showroom for gratis

parceltogo.co.uk were looking for £30 to send a whole v6 brake kit from the uk to me here in Dublin
now a BFO is alot lighter than this and it was over 60

UPS don't always go by actual weights - most of our account is on dimensional weights and if they charge £60 on their tarrif that's how much we have to pay!
We can't argue that Parcel2Go are £30 cheaper..

I've tried to order parts for my paintball marker from the US and they wanted $70 shipping.
I was only buying a set of springs (around the size of a retractable ballpoint pen spring) and an alloy rear bolt the size of a stack of ten £1 coins.

Yeah, importing from other countries is bloody expensive, hey? Eats diick! Unfortunately for us Aussies though, most of the goodies for Opels have to come from Europe, so we have no choice. Ahhh, well. It's all fun!
Joff, do you work for PVD, yeah? If so, I spoke to ya the other night! About my order, remember? I'm the annoying fcuk that kept ringing up week after week askin' for Baz!
