Does anyone know roughtly how much it will cost for a new rear bumper for my '94 Corsa and to have it fitted at a garage? (Just a standard black one so i guess it shouldnt be that expensive) Some silly woman went into the rear corner of my car and cracked the back bumper, luckly that is the only damage. Very light impact hardly felt it as she did only just catch it.

I am gonna get a few quotes but am not able to take it to a garage for a few days so am just after some rough guesses from you guys/gals. She has offered to pay for it to be fixed so I just wanna know how much so I can tell her. If she says it is too much I can claim for it from her insurance company cant i as it was her fault and she admitted liability or do I claim from my insurance and they get the cash from hers? I dont want to lose my no claims bonus if possible.

Get her to pay out what you have been quoted then get a bumper from a scrappy for a tenner and fit it yourself

How easy is it to fit yourself? I dont know if i would be very confident about doing it myself if i knew it is not that easy.

Its a doddle, there are two screws under a flap at the front of the arch, they are the hardest to find.

I did the same not so long ago. Picked one up from a scrappy for £30. Had to take it off myself tho.
