if u buy shocks and springs seperate. is the shock suitable for any height spring?

i.e. -40mm springs, on shocks that came with a -60mm kit?

if they are decent quality shocks they will be absolutly fine.

i've got -40mm springs and someone is selling shocks that came off -60mm kit.

i don't wanna go any lower, and i don't want the ride bouncy

it go's of springs not shocks
think about it
-40mm kit and -60mm kit are going to have same shoxs just differant springs

The shocks on uprated kits are shorter than standard shocks. As long as the new uprated shocks are designed around an uprated and shorter spring they will be fine.
