right, im running my four channel directed amp with remote cable going from the HU to the amp
Got a directed 1100D mono going in aswell tomoz hopefully.
Can i just run a remote cable from the current amp to the new amp like in series kinda thing or is there something else i gotta do?
so am i right in saying i can run it
HU >>> AMP (current) >>>>amp (mono)?

i've done what u are saying with 3 amps and had it like this for ages. I've had no problems.
Some might say u need a relay in between the amps

any more than 3 amps and u risk blowing the 500mA remote circuit or none of the amps will come on, or the first few may only come on.
2 amps are fine. Just connect the remote cable to the four channel, then from there to the directed mono.

Then you take the remote feed to the switch input on a (for example) 1a relay, then the output on the relay would go to the amps when the headunit is switched on.
