bought a load 2day...... im gonna be installing tomorrow, my question is...
can it be installed on the outer skin on the door.... is it a bitch to get to?
and is dynamat as effective if you apply it in strips/patches instead of one big sheet?

it can be installed to the outer skin, but it will be a hell of a fiddly job. It should be fine on the inside skin as it will still be blocking the path between the music and the outside world. As for fitting it in strips or a whole sheet, i would say it doesnt make a difference, so long as there are no gaps, and you will be able to use it a lot more efficiently.

put it on the outside m8, and the inside.
You will regreyt it if u do half a job.

Try and keep the sheets as large as possible as it will have more damping potential.

you should put it on the outer skin of the door, then put a section around the door speaker like so:
on the inner skin u just need to put the dynamat in places where the door card touches the panel ans around the mid speaker
