Any one got any tips on how to remove the glue from under the rub strips, removed them at the weekend and its taking forever to remove the glue without damaging the paintwork.
Ive tried getting hold of the circular rubber sanding block with no luck, im loosing hope.... ive tried, meths, white spirits, boiling water and elbow grease.

the only thing ive herd that does it is the Eraser Wheel or caramel wheel from motor facotrs a tenner mate but be careful i used it on mine and it fucked up some of the paintwork so i took it to a friends and he sorted it all out. check my garage for pics

sand paper, not very coarse tho yeah? wont it damage the paint work?

dont use sand paper if ure not confident enough then again stupid idea n e way. take it to a body shop shud cost u a tenner and they'll sort it out for u.

I used meths it worked ok. Bit of petrol works too.

yeah you could but soak petrol in, if the cars never been resprayed use thinners

I am affraid to use Cellulose thinners as I use that to get paint off things. Hands usually
