Going to be taking the seat s out the car n do a nice install with my 2 12's the question is whats best for this, ported or sealed box? cos i do do spl tests and vented are sposed to be better?

hummmmmm, this can go either way, depends who you talk to.
in theory the ported enclosure will give you the better spl ratings. the trouble is some ppl dont pay much attention and stick a vent into any box! the way forward for spl is making your vented enclosure tuned..............by not bothering with this you can actually make the sound worse than being in a sealed box, or even worse than a smaller box.
