right mates had it off me and fitted it and when he starts the engine it revs to the limiter, but he said if it starts with your foot on the pedal it doesnt do it just idles? has any1 got the fitting instructions they could scan and email to me? its wainey@blueyonder.co.uk

sounds like accelerator cable on wrong way round.
Probably a vacuum leak though.
Check its all seated and sealed.

^as above check the seal, u got a gasket on?
only pipe u need connected is the main one to the brake servo, and the small rubber hose goin to map sensor.
Theres also pipes goin to fuel press reg valve, small cam cover breather but u dont need them on
!

Sounds like an air leak tbh as already said 
Check that the throttle cable is in the right position with the butter fly closed normally and fully open with the throttle on the floor.
