Most places shud sell adaptors for it mate so try Halfords/Ripspeed etc

Takin it somewhere to get fitted normally means getting ripped off!

ull prolly find that the alpines come with the lives not connected together,

put the yellow to the red and the red to the yellow using the bullet connectors already connected,

then simply just plug it in!

jobs done!

I have the unit in now, but its not holding its memory e.g. radio stations, maybe it does need a permanent connection to battery!

The car loom has 2 wires, a permanent live and a switch live.
Just swap them over, it'l have permanent power then, u shudnt need a direct battery connection.

My Alpine is wired directly to the battery as it recommended it shud b as Adi mentioned.

A mates gf had 60x4 W Alpine unit that wasnt wired off the battery however. She was runnin her speakers off the head unit and every now and again when the music was on loud the speakers suddenly began distorting lik they lost power.

He wired it off the battery as recommended and the problem was solved!!

The internal amp must hav been drawing to much power i guess so needed a direct battery connection!
