Of course, but u will have to wire the subs in series or parallel to get the load u need.
Good subs and a good amp, the directed's work best at 1 ohm, so really u need subs with 2 x 4 Ohm voice coils and wire to 1 ohm.
Will sound good.

Audiobahn i dont reccomend, look flashy but dont sound all that.
For your sort of budget the L7 are quite good, depends wat u r after, SPL or sound quality...

sorry mate. but the DEI 2400d is only 2ohm stable for everyday use. my team mate competed briefly with them and yes they will run below that but we never really wanted to try it as daily use. i currently run 6 of the Viper 2500d's which are a VERY similar amplifier, just differing with the x-overs.
The smaller DEI (1100d) is indeed 1 ohm stable if that is the one that you were meaning.

Gordon
P.S. The DEI 2400d is a superb amp and has loads of power !

the 2400d is "basically" two 1100d's strapped together internally.
this is one of the reasons that you can strap the 1100 and not the 2400 unfortunately.
i have setup viper 1200d's (again similar to DEI 1100) and these will play all day at 1ohm

so the new l7 subs run at 2ohm and 4ohm and have a single voice coil, so will the 2400d run them both good or not? think the amp runs at 2ohm 2. i want abit of both spl and sound quality mostly spl.

if u get the single coil 4 ohm version and run 2 together at 2 ohm the amp will be fine.

how does all these ohms and voice coils work? and what effects wot? cos i thought that to be running a 2ohm amp u need to run a 2ohm sub, but u sed to run the 4ohm version of the subs n i dont gettit?

If you run two 4 ohm subs in parallel then it will make the amp run at 2 ohms.
Read my SPEAKER IMPEDENCE tutorial.
