Hi,i was looking into getting two 15" sony pentagon 1400 watt subs, but have seen the audiobahn 15" flame subs, and love the look of them!i still definately want two 15's, and will stretch to afford the audiobahn subs, but wanted to know if the £200 audiobahn subs are as good (or better) as the sony 1400watt subs?which ones am i better off spending my money on?also any recommendations for an amp to run these at their full potential that isnt stupidly priced? thanks

hi there ive been shoping around and have listened to dozens of 12s and 15s,the loudest and bassest 15 ive come across is the DB AUDIO T-REX 1 of the those 15s will shake shop windows and definetely get you noticed in a cruise above all the rest, from car audio centre, but with a 12 JLAUDIO W3 SERIES, fappin loud as fkuc and bassy, but depending on your budget then go for 2 12inch atomic appololypse they will destroy your car cheers

as it has already been said, sony arent very good for amps and subs. Audiobahn subs aren;t the best out there, but they are a LOT better than the sonys, and as you said, have the looks too. The max power ratings aren't what to go by though, look at the RMS figures, as this will tell you what power the sub can really handle. Rockford fosgate stuff isn't bad, this sub here

is 500w RMS, 15" and dual voice coils which means you have more flexibility in how you want to amp it too.
