rite me n a mate were talkin 2day,wen uve got a fibreglass install do they build boxes in2 em cos surely u need em 2 get the best from ur subs. the other fing was if the install filled ur boot n was totally closed how would u get 2 say the wires on the bak of ur subs etc? confused me, sumfin i need 2 no cos i wanted 2 have a bash at 1 myself wen i get my other sub soon.

yesh the boxes are made from wood they the fiberglass is shaped into wotever you want.
made like a normal sub box then they just get fillered etc etc.

ply box - as its lighter - then some kind of mesh - finer the better - to over lay the glass sheets on resing over - build up 2-3 layers of glass, then a surface tissue glass, and P38, P40 to fill and finish -before painting

u could build the box from fibreglass, would need to use MDF baffle though then screw that into the fibreglass box. would need about 3/4 inch of fibreglass too.
