Got myself a 2litre 16v should be fitted in the next few weeks!

the guy that had it had originally planned to put NOS in it! the engine had a full rebuild and a lot of uprated parts, lightened balance, ported polished bla bla bla. running 172bhp was thinking of puttin 50 shot of NOS to that but onlty for 1/4 mile.. has any1 got any experience with it? ive also been told the engine is rife for a set of TB's with what has been done ( im not that clued up with mechanics ) i aint got the cash right now for TB's but i am considering it!!

so basically howe much for 50hp NOS on a progressive controlller or TB's?
i

Not experienced it, but I'd rather save the money I'd spend on NOS to put towards TBs. Plus, in my eyes, its better to have something thats always there, rather than having to keep going to get your NOS topped up.

(And then theres the noise... mmmm)
