hi ive got a 1.2 16v and a set of G-MAX gas shocks with g-max 40mm springs.. the problem is that this suspension setup is too soft and the rear wheels can scuff of the inner arch at the top and they are jus the std 14" alloys.....
can any1 recomend a good suspension set-up that will let me adjust the comfort or ride height for not too much money...
cheers

I'd be concerned that std 14" alloys/tyres are catching the inner arch cos they shouldnt be. What tyres are on them? Have you de-bolted the plastic arch or is it catching the inner metal? Got to say though Gmax have notoriously soft springs in them which is why everyone says they are so comfy. I just cant believe the sport alloys are catching - i'd say the car would have to be compressed to 100-120mm drop before they should catch... Have you thaught about smaller rubber for your alloys - I know you can get 195/45/14 rubber but the 195 width may be a bit much for a 5.5J wheel...

bigger bumpstops will stop the wheel hitting the arch when u go over big bumps or with a full load....
