bhp gain will be like 1 or 2
you wont notice anything,
fuel consumption will go down
will make your engine sound a bit louder
The standard airbox is best bet really,

can you not get a better increase from putting cold air intakes on? i looked at the viper kit but dont fancy paying what pipercross want for it. Im not looking for the sound really i just wanted an increase in bhp and theirs a few flat spots in my acceleration. any other ideas?

none, they are a marketing ploy to make you think they are worth £60 or whatever, stick with the air box

Get a panel filter and keep the original airbox. Or fork out and by something that will work just AS good but sound better. You should not be getting flatspots with your standard airbox on a new car! If this is the case change the filter.
Or look into buying the sl1x made by powertec. Its not a good idea to by an induction kit for bhp though...as u will be disapointed.

Its not what Pipercross are charging, it's what dealers are charging
Pipercross set the RRP to give dealers a fair margin and to make them money but price fixing is illegal mkay?

stick with the air box mate,u wont feel any power gain from induction kit.
With cold air pipes or owt else u want to do to the air box, filter, you wont feel any dif.
Even with performance exhaust an induction kit u would feel very little dif maybe nowt at al.
Its a small engine.

If you buy an induction kit for £60 then you get what you pay for. Tuning parts are never that cheap... Think over £160 and you will be getting a part that will incrase the power, but only on an engine that has been tuned sufficiently to make use of the increased air flow. But then again, most the people who buy induction kits only buy them for the 'cool noise' they apparently make.
