I used to use whatever was in the shop on the old corsa, then gave it a polish, back-to-black on the bumpers, and some tyre-shine stuff on the wheels...

not sure what to use on the GSi tho, but always hoovered the inside out too & used window-lean on the windows

ive just done mine.

Washed
Polished
extra gloss protection
wheels
tyre blacked
plastic trim blacked
windows in/out

vacuumed inside
then used interior cleaner on dash and doorcards.

wash
leather
super resin polish
extra gloss protection
back to black
wax wheels and clean exhaust
tyre shine
hoover out and clean windows
use dash polish
clean engine bay if i feel like it

take 2hours usually

Soapy water, shampoo, and polish Haven't really got round to washing it properly yet, not long had the car. Used some backtoblack on my bumpers though because previous owner must have tried waxing it or something and totally ruined it. Looks quite nice after a bit of a rub though

I cleaned my car and just after finishing the chamoising it rained! bugger! Tho in response to the thread I use all Meguiars stuff....can't fault it!
