check the ariel connection on the back on your headunit mate - sounds obvious I know, but it might have slipped out

if its a corsa B, then remember that there is an signal booster the base of the aerial which is powered from the remote lead/auto aerial connection (its the black wire in the cars HU block, which is on the same pin as the greay/black wire for the MDF) on your HU. So if you have disconnected your remote lead to that pin, then somehow bodge it so your aerial booster is getting power

so the aerial socket is in? and the aerial booster is getting power?

only thing i can suggest is to get an aerial booster from halfords that sits in between the aerial socket and you HU's socket and see if that helps The one in the aerial could be stuffed

nah, it be something silly like i said, first thing to check is the remote-lead pin in the car ISO block. There should be a black wire and a grey/black wire. The former being the aerial booster power and the latter being the control wire for the MDF display, which you have to disconnect for the display to function properly again (with the date)
I would double check that the aerial booster connection is getting power

or go with another aerial booster

so if i disconnect the black/ grey wire, from the display, it'll constantly show the date, and is it possible to use this as another power source for the booster?

errr to get the date to display constantly you need to cut the grey/red wire in your corsa ISO block, not the black/grey.

on my block it was black/grey and had another black cable for the power for the booster...maybe mine was special

but yea, easiest way, would be to disconnect the remote lead from the corsa ISO block (which will give you your MDF back) and then cut the black cable for the booster and wire that to the remote lead (i soldered mine to the base of HUs remote lead bullet connector, so i still can use the bullet connector when i need to)
Or you could try and feed it off another power feed - it only requires 12v @500mA (i believe)
