i just been down geting some new reg plates made up and i noticed max power DIY window tinting kit, anybody know how hard it is to do? cuz knowing me I'd prolly cock the entire thing up and tare the film, have bubbles n got knows what else happen to it. Tis like £15 a roll and costs like what... £200 to get somebody else to do it.

dont bother mate leave it to the experts, soo hard to get a good finish DIY'ing. put the 15 quid towards a company doing it. (BTY it aint 200, company near me wanted 140quid for black tints

im interested mate, get paid 2mora! i dont no what colour to get though for the tints, wot do people usually get, havent got a clue about window tints, so they are easy 2 fit then yeh? any other people used these tints, opinions?

Hi, Yes they are probably the most popular product we sell at the moment, Most people go for light smoke or dark smoke. They are quite easy to fit, I would use a fitting kit though as it makes it a lot easier, these cost 2.75.

but aint it illegal to have dark smoke on the front windows? can't i have light smoke for front and dark smoke for the back? is there an art to doing this? a mate says to put washing up liquid on it and your windows then ya can slide it about untill its in place, then use a window scraper and use that to remove the bubbles and should also remove the washing up liquid aswell.
That right? If I'm to do this i so don't wanna cock it up! lol

you cant tint the front windows full stop. you are only allowed front tints if they came as standard. All other windows cant be upto 100% tinted
