Im just getting a few ideas for my ice, and quite fancy this alpine sub, so just wondering what be the best alpine amp for it.

sub is a Alpine SWR-1221D 12" Type R

1000W max (300W RMS)

I had the Alpine MRP-M350, was very pleased with it. It would power this sub nicely, it all depends how much you want to spend. But for £110 or so dont think you can beat the power of this amp.

Delivers 700W Max, 200W RMS @ 4 ohm, 350W RMS @ 2 ohm (I think the alpine sub you are talking about here is dual voice cone ie 2ohm.)

The BEST PERFORMANCE alpine amp for these subs are the MRD-M501's.

The BEST VALUE alpine amp is as above the MRP-M350

compared to what?
If you want to stick to Alpine, then yea, its a good amp, although if you want to venture outside of alpine then there are of course better amps available, for similar money
