Has anyone experienced problems with lambda sensors on 1.4.16v sport models,

What would be the running problems if this was malfunctioning..

Any response would be appreciated..

i think a dodgy o2/lambda sensor would cause incorrect fueling and cause car to drink more/less petrol and jerky throttle response?

Correct. Should also show up when you you do that paperclip test on the ECU

You'll only notice anything when cruising at part throttle for a length of time as thats the only time the lambda sensor is doing anything. The ecu light will only come on during this as well.
