As above, was thinking about a 2.0 16v conversion, but its so common. The idea of throttle bodies (lighter engine = better handling, ohh and the sound, Also cheap tax is a bonus)

What kinda price am i looking at for the full setup? I think i could fit it myself, just need it set up professionally.

cheers

I've got a 1.6 16v on TBs I love the car, great sound and goes well, much better than a std 1.6. However the cost of the kit was 2K+ for everything you need (SBD gear) and you are still only just keeping up with a std 2.0 corsa in a straight line (handling of the 1.6 is better). If you are after sheer power then do the XE conversion, but TBs are very rewarding in a different way. I am actually doing an XE conversion just now, but the TBs are being transferred to the 2.0

the cheapest option is to use jenvey 40mm bodies (DCOE style) on a RRE 30deg manifold. with 40mm trumpets.
You'll also need a fuel pressure regulator, and cream or blue injectors from a redtop engine. some ARP's
Then a tubular manifold and mappable management (MBE, DTA, emerald, Pmex etc.....)
then go get it mapped, and say hello to around 130-140BHP,
