Hi, i was wondering that if i remove just my center section and replace with straight pipe, what will happen, im looking for a louder noise from exhause, atm i have a 1.2 8v,.
who has done this on a 1.2 8v i just need advice on weather it will be ok to do. cheers - Reynolds

louder yesh but; when i did it on the 1.0 also noticed drop in fuel economy though...

you gonna DIY it? cos i got my old system if your interested. but it sounds deeper and louderr higher up the revs, but on idle it sounds nice, not loud at all. depending on back box you can get a nice rumble from the 8v engine, 16v usually give a raspy sound.

got my done on my 1.4 Corsa C, sounds better and theres def a drop in fuel inc,
also one prob i;ve got its the engine management light stays on, which reminds me, need to ring garage to sort

jus get a bit of pipe slightly longer than the silencer, cut the silencer out and put that in... I'd use pipe of a slightly wider bore to slip over both ends of the existing system left then weld up...
