Just came back from down parked and went to press the button the alarm activated but didnt lock my doors, reset the alarm using the reset button, still didnt do it so i locked up manual and put the alarm on then pressed the button on my keys again and it deactivatd the alarm and unlocked my doors, why isnt it locking my doors

Loose wire or a faulty door lock motor. With mine it turned out to be a fault motor that was interfering with the entire system. Is it central locking as standard or is it aftermarket central locking

RICHIE- went out to have a look unlocked it and pressed it again to see if it was fecked, but now its okay now
so i took a look up at the device with TOAD written on it and i noticed that the wires are quite close to the heating went, this was me that put this there when i removed a few on my dash bits ect could the heat going to the fan heating the wire casue a problem, and now the cars cooled down its back to working condition,
