tried a search but I'm thick and lazy....what darkness of tints are allowed now? and whats best way of doing them? with the film stuff yourself, of getting donw properly? also cost?

back 3 dark as you like and front sides is 35%, or thats what it was.
i payed £220 for mine and most people pay around that.

front tints are totally illegal now, you can take the risk of gettin the lightest tints on the front. I know someone that does a pro job for £125 all 5 windows, but u live kinda far.

Front tints arnt illegal, i asked my bro about this b4 since he's in the M.O.T.
They do have to be very light tho, window needs to let in 70% light on the front side. The catch is tho almost all glass doesnt let in 100% light on its own :S
