Hi,
I got a sony incar TV with the tuner box from an imported skyline BUT when i plug my PS2 into it the screen goes wierd,it shows the picture BUT what should be at the bottom of the screen is @ the top and come about 1cm down and just below that there's a band of black (which i think should be at the bottom.
It's asthough it needs tuned or something ???And the screen only shos black + white and it's a colour TV.
Anyone know what's wrong????

different tv formats - NTSC (usa etc), PAL (UK)....your PS2 will be PAL and the screen is set for NTSC, so you will have a B&W picture etc
Have a look through the manual or screen settings for an option to switch it into PAL mode. If it isnt available, then you will need to get a different screen, or i believe you can get converters (but ive only seen professional home/business jobbies that cost a few grand).

i don't think i can turn the TV onto pal  BUT i found a couple of converters that are under £50 and they're meant to gove you colour pics and can covert from pal to ntsc if you want, but will that also sort out the black line on the screen???

or you could just bust apart the PS2 and do the NTSC fix, depending on how old it is.
Other solution is to try a different lead
