ok im comming to the conclusion corsa brakes are shit!!!
some of u may remeber i posted a while ago about poor pedal feel,
its 1.4 sport non ABS with 2.0 16v ate calipres
rear shoes have been replaced and adjusted
the brakes have now been bled to daeth today master cylinder was replaced and fluid changed, still i have a nice firm pedal untill the engine is running and the pedal sinks!!!
what should i do? find a new servo?

bleed them with the engine on.... have you got braided hoses?

could be a colapsed servo pipe. dad had this on his old car, new servo pipes and it was all sorted.

servo pipe looks ok maybe the bleed with engine running

the reason its going softer is because its when the servo kicks in...it may feel soft but could be biting really well? have u tried it driving or jus on the drive?

tried driving it and as i said they will stop you just a poor pedal feel and to much travel for my likeing

a mate of mine had the same problen on his when he put 2ltr disks n calipers on his sri non abs not sure how he sorted it though.

seems like theres a strong possibility that corsa brakes are always spongy

iv asked before but always had comments like "mine are fine" Thing is i drive a 54 plate astra as a daily drive and the brakes in that are awesome wish i could get the corsa to feel like that.

buy some of them then

no spongy pedal at all and 10 times better than my v6 setup.... cost a bit though

yes lot of £££ which i aint got at the moment, might try some braided hoses tomorrow if i can find somewhere local that sells them

my brakes have a lot of travel.
but they are working.
i know the feeling.
