havin to give it a lot of gas to get it to move and when it does move it judders along, i have a feeling it could be the clutch cable but not too sure. the clutch was fine when it was all in the astra

any idea? could it have sumthin to do with the modded linkage or does the clutch cable just need adjusting

simple .... is it just the clutch slipping? if so..... check the cable, if thats ok.... the clutch may need replaced..

linkage only selects the gears, try opening it up in second and put it onto forth and if the revs rise up but the speed doesnt its slipping, but i remember your clutch wasnt at its best in the astra so might be on its last legs.

just sounds like normal slippage..
do the 2nd to 4th test.

but you'll be looking to get a new clutch soonish..
