Basically i've got a 1.0 corsa, which is nearly standard now. Do i sell it now, or have an engine change ???
I would also like to add power steering if i did do an engine change. Would i need to change steering rack etc, and would it be better to use the electric or hydralic power steering ???

No point in an engine change, sell it and buy a Corsa with the spec you desire.

Finding newish Corsa's with mint body work shouldn't be hard. It will probably cost you more, and have a lower resale value to convert.
You also get more toys with the Gsi/Sport/Sri.
