ok for some time now i have had a prob with my corsa gsi

took it to a mechanic and he took idle control valve out and throttle body and said he cleaned them all

it done nothing

then took it some where else and they replaced the throttle position sensor

this seemed to cure it then it started again

ok here is the problem

it idles between 850 to 1500
it jerks when u come off the throttle
also engine managment light has started to come on again

any 1 know what it could be

i was going to get a new inlet manifold to see if this helps
would new idle controll valve be any good

You can try to read what your ecu is trying to say you...

http://www.topbuzz.co.uk/

Here is a guide how to read without anything other that a paperclip the fault codes of your ecu.
Remember that the idle control valve is not signaled as an error by the ecu.

Hope this help!
