Hi, i am thinking about gettnig a sebring backbox and straight through centre? Wondering how this will sound on my 1.6 16v sport?

Also, do sebring do decats too? if so where can you get them from? I have found a stainless piper one for like £49, will this fit up to the sebring system ok? Anyone got a sebring straight through system with a decat?

Any help, much appreciated, cheers

No sebring decat as far as I'm aware. They are excellent exhausts though, got a full cat back on my 8v and it sounds lovely, nice and deep idle, then roar when you open it up.

so does the straight through centre sebring sell decat or do you have to buy that separately? If so, any idea where i can get one from? If not, you know if the piper one will mate straight up to the system?

you know if the piper decat would fit to the sebring centre? and when you say raspy....it kinda like a sports car rasp?....rather than the stereotypical boy racer booming exhaust? If so i dont mind....it a nice sound? makes a big difference with the straight through centre yeah? heard the backbox alone is pretty quiet! Anyone got a decat with a straight through sebring? cheers for all the replies by the way guys, this is all a great help!

I had a sebring 6x4" oval backbox on my 1.4 16v sport along with a lexmaul inlet manifold, piper x induction kit & 4-2-1 manifold but the exhaust just seemed 2 b very raspy as opposed 2 being deep sounding.

Is fuel consumption affected at all when fitting a 6x4?
