hey everyone. was wondering i have been told that the astra 1.6 16v engine is the same as the one from the corsa sport and tigra. but have noticed that the engine codes are diff as the corsa sport is a XE and the astra is an XEL. can neone help clear this up for me, r they the same?? b4 i go buy an astra engine.

XEL engines are a lower power output than the Xe engines.

hmm dont like the sound of that. so r they def the same engine but just lower power on the astra??
