hi just been asked this question?when fitting cd in to a corsa does the dash board lights still work as norml, if not can you get them to work as normal and how thanx ie clock temp etc

its the centre part that wont work, it'll still show temperature and time. (just not the date i think)
^this being as vaux headunit usually puts a display of what radio station ur on.
dunno if its just mine but when playing a cd it works as normal, but the date disappears when i whack radio on.

you can get around it, my MFD shows time date and temp constantely

My center console is odd, It shows the date when I first start up, then it dissears, leaves -- -- for temp and has the time there

cut the red and grey cable in the loom behind iso connection incar, or at mfd, then it will work all time!!
