i turned my system on this morning and it played for a couple of seconds and then the amp when into protection. ive checked wiring and fuses and there are o.k. i had a spare amp which is also doing the same. this is really puzzleing me. any help will be appriciated

it comes on when your battery i found that out

bad postive connection on battery end...
voltage to low or high
crossed speaker terminal wires.
Faulty head unit
