You just need a VGA to DVI converter cable which should come with the card....

Yeah id recommend the 6600GT, but if your strictly stuck to that budget, an ATi 9800pro wouldnt be a bad choice.

I meant, with a PCI Express card, would I need a new motherboard? I know I don't for an AGP

yes you can pick up a 9800Pro now for around £50 check ebay and computer forums.

I have a 9800 Pro if you are interested?

£50 + p&P, its yours.
ITs never been overclocked, runs sweet as a nut.
Its the sapphire version (one of the best if not the best).

u2u me if your interested.
It will currently play any game out at the moment (havent tested quake 4, but i completed doom3 with it, which uses the same game engine as quake4).
