Brother got one, we played 2 games last night.
Fifa 06 and Need for Speed.
Fifa is The player's faces are a little shiny but the animation and detail is amazing. Just before kick off it zooms right in on the ball and their boots and it looks real i kid you not. The grass effects are amazing.
Pity the game itself is shoot I'm a Pro Evo fan don't you know
Need for speed looked good as well, lots of fancy stuff going on with the graphics like spray on the camera from the start and slow-motion effects. Did look good.
Didn't get a chance to use the Component connection on the HD tv. Might try tonight if he's out

So was you playing using Standard Definition then? Cos it'd be interesting to hear what it looks like on a regular TV - not a HDTV...

ive got no HDTV but could run it through my 19" PC CRT using the DVI cable i guess - would be better than being blown up on a 32" Widescreen.....

The original European Xboxes weren't HD enabled. Whereas the yanks were all HD enabled....
All 360s are HD out the box.....

word of warning - have seen those HD leads (included in the premium pack) go on ebay for around £50
Almost the difference between the core and premium packs!!

I was watching someone playing Call of Duty in HMV lastnight, the graphics are amazing, and its so smooth and realistic.
I will invest in one when they are 99.99.
